Submission Details

For an entry to be considered submitted, candidates must:

1. Send their entries to [email protected] no later than 31 July 2024, 2359 hours Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Late submissions will be voided.

2. Ensure that the subject of your email is in the following format: 

   [First Name]-[Last Name]-[Category]-[Question Number] 

   Sample: John-Doe-Philosophy-2

3. Submit the accompanying Official Entry Form in PDF format with their details, found here. 

4. All entries must be submitted in PDF format. Essay submissions not accompanied by the form, with an incorrect naming convention or file type will be deemed to be incomplete and will not be included for judging. 

5. Entries must not contain any form of personal information, such as but not limited to your name and school. All information required to identify your submission will have been collated in the Official Entry Form.

6. Candidates will receive an email within 72 hours of submission acknowledging their essay and form have been successfully received.

Formatting & Contents

All essays must be written in Times New Roman, font size 12, single line spacing with one-inch margins. You are advised to write between 800 to 1000 words, excluding the bibliography. Content in excess of 1000 words will be disregarded. Citations should be included as per the APA 7 (American Psychological Association – 7th edition) system.
